Cheryl Kime was born in California and since her earliest years she has enjoyed riding and caring for horses. Cheryl started showing horses when she was 10 years of age and at the age of 13 she started looking for a faster pace so she started her barrel racing career. After graduating high school, she joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for 2 1/2 years. She moved back to the United States after serving the country, started a family and picked up where she left off in barrel racing!
She later went to work as a school bus driver where she remained there for 19 years! Why? You might ask, well she says she simply: LOVED HER JOB! Over the years she has supported her kids in many sports, 4H & FFA events. She is also a member of WPRA, NBHA, ACBRA and AQHA. While on a NFR trip to Las Vegas in 2012, she met the man of her dreams. In her heart she felt it was not too late for a second chance at love. A short time later, she moved to Oklahoma where she and Craig were married in September, 2014. Since then, they have happily worked side by side daily mastering the art of jewelry making!
